He was a child who would rather stay at home and read all day long; read books that you would not find in any bookstore down any boulevard. He would rather watch the other children outside than play with them. He would rather sit in the dark corners of his room than chase ice cream trucks and relish whatever new flavor the ice cream man has to offer. Nicholas Devin was indeed an oddity. And in school his oddity made him a favorite target of every school
